Model: AP100 automatic porosimeter

Summary：

TR AP100 automatic Gas/Helium porosimeter is our new generation product of our company, which has the following features: 

1) High measurement accuracy, wide tunable range. Could operate manually or automatically.

2)Instrument testing process accords with SY/T5336—1996 standard.

3)Could measure pore volume of rock core, matrix volume and porosity.

4) Instrument detection ,test ,data processing , whole process of printing report are controlled by the computer.

Method and principle：

According to Boyle's Law (P1V1= P2V2，P1V1 is known, then measure the P2, we could calculate the V2), firstly put the steel plunger and standard sample respectively in the core chamber in turn ,of which total volume and pore volume are already known. Under certain gas pressure (P1), make the gas in volume (V1) expanding toward standard room under normal pressure, measure the pressure after balancing, and then could obtain the original gas volume (V1) and standard chamber volume (V2),also could calculate the matrix volume correction coefficient at the same time. In the same condition, put the steel plunger in known volume into the core chamber, and fill with disks in four kinds of specifications in model cup , respectively measure the pressure after balancing each time taking different specifications of disks. According to pressures value after balancing each time, could calculate the total volume correction coefficient. And then on the condition of known total volume and matrix volume correction coefficient, put the rock core of unknown porosity in the core chamber, under the condition of vacuum inside and outside, measure the pressure respectively after balancing .balance after pressure is measured respectively. The pressure before and after balancing come into the computer through the interface collecting the data on the pressure digital display. The computer will obtain the matrix volume of core and pore volume after calculating and processing the collected data, and then automatically display and print out the report.

5. Composition: TR AP100 porosimeter is composed of rock core automatic control test system and data acquisition and processing system.Rock core automatic control test system is composed of core holding unit system( framework holder, porosity holder, etc), automatic air control system (automatic pneumatic control valve, etc), pressure system, pressure regulating valve, pressure gage, pressure sensor, etc), pipe connector, etc.Data collection and process system is composed of data processing system, computer, operation panel, etc.
