TR-HY4150 Environmental Stress-Cracking Tester is used to determine the susceptibility of etTR-HYlene plastics to environmental stress-cracking when subjected to specified conditions and in the presence of environments such as soaps, wetting agents, oils, or detergents, etTR-HYlene plastic may exhibit mechanical failure by cracking. The principle is: Bent specimens of the plastic, each having a controlled imperfection on the surface, are exposed to the action of a surface-active agent. The proportion of the total number of specimens that crack in a given time is observed. This machine conforms to ISO 4599, ASTM D1693, GB/T 1842, etc.
